About Me

Tracing Lebanon's Modern History Through People's Stories

My name is Maabar and I produce an ongoing podcast series that explores the modern history of Lebanon through oral history and documentary storytelling. By sharing personal recollections and perspectives, my podcast creates a multi-dimensional, people-centered view of the complexities of Lebanon’s history. I focus on the civil war period between 1975-1990, and plan to cover pre- and post-war periods as well. In addition, I offer services in podcast production, oral history interviewing, and storytelling.

Let’s talk with me.
